YB Dato Dr. Jamaluddin bin Hj. Mohd. Jarjis was unanimously elected as President of the MEM for a two-year term. YB Dato Dr Jamaluddin is representing the Ministry of Finance.
YABhg. Tun Haji Mohammed Hanif bin Omar, was unanimously elected the Deputy for a similar period. Long standing CEO of the Council Encik Tan Poh Ching stepped down and was replaced by Encik Ng Eng Tong, who is the Nominee of the National Stud Farm. Mr Ng is also Chairman of Pan Malaysian Pools Sdn. Bhd.
